State Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar Garu held a video conference with District Collectors and Officials on forest conservation and podu agriculture.

State Chief Secretary of the state Somesh Kumar Garu said that if the forest resources are increased, future generations will get plenty of oxygen.Additional Collector of District Local Bodies Venkatesh Dhotre spoke. Additional Collector said 241 gram panchayats in the district were under occupation under podu agriculture. Additional Collector said a meeting had been arranged with the leaders of all political parties to ensure that the forest lands were not encroached upon.
