The District Collector spoke to mandal level officials in a teleconference on forest conservation and podu agriculture.

The District Collector Jitesh V Patil said applications for forest conservation and podu agriculture should be received through gram sabhas. It was suggested that a gram sabha be set up in the villages on the 17th and 18th of this month to educate the beneficiaries and take applications.
