Rural Water Supply and Mission Bhagiratha:
The RWS&S Department deals with water supply released works in Rural Habitations of Kamareddy District. The Department will execute the works like Constructions of OHSR’s, Laying of Pipeline, Drilling of Borewells, fixing of Pumpset and erection of RO plants. The Department comprises with on section officer in each mandal called as Assistant Executive/ Assistant Executive Engineer, who monitors the supply of potable water in co-ordination with village Secretary/Sarpanch in every constituency of respective habitations (Gram Panchayath). In every Constituency one Deputy Executive Engineer is deployed to supervise over the section officer and to monitor the MVS schemes, SVS schemes in his Jurisdiction.
Tap Connections:
In Mission Bhagiratha every Household will be given the tap connection and if any leftover is there they can approach the village secretary of concerned Gram Panchayath.

Activities :
1.Mission Bhageeratha (Intra Villages):
Under this scheme the drinking water facility will be provided for 827 habitations. Under the Scheme an amount of Rs.307.19 crores has been sanctioned for laying of pipeline for 2123.23 kms, constructions of 600 OHSRs and 244673 Tap connections. So far total 600 OHSRs has been completed and 2111.25 Kms of pipes has been laid in the habitations. These works will be completed by the end of October 2020.
2.RURBAN Grant:
Under this grant (26) Nos. of works has been sanctioned with an estimated cost of Rs.49.00 Lakhs and (16) works are in Progress. And (10) works are completed. The Expenditure incurred on the above works are Rs.21.33 Lakhs.
3.MPLADS Grant:
During the year 2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20, theworks (13) Nos. has been sanctioned with an estimated cost of Rs.20.20 Lakhs and the (13) works are completed. The Expenditure incurred on the above works are Rs.14.66 Lakhs.
4.C.D.P. Grant:
During the year 2017-18and 2018-19 (193) Nos. of works has been sanctioned with an estimated cost of Rs.136.15Lakhs and (191) works are completed, and (2) works are in Progress. The expenditure incurred on the above works is Rs.126.60Lakhs.
5.D.M.F.C. Grant:
During the year 2018-19 (32) Nos. of works has been sanctioned with an estimated cost of Rs.30.49 Lakhs and (05) works are completed, and (27) works are in Progress. The expenditure incurred on the above works is Rs.11.05 Lakhs.
