Industrial Scenario in Kamareddy District
Large and Medium Industries:
Kamareddy District is mostly Agriculture based district and there are Five Large and Medium Industries Existing in the district and Many Large and Medium Industries are under implementation.
SSI Units existing in the District:
In the district (192) units are existing and providing employment to many persons directly and indirectly.
As the district is nearer to the Hyderabad which is the capital of Telangana and the national highway( 44) is connected from District Head quarters to Hyderabad, which is very easier for transportation of the finished product and for marketing opportunities and raw material available.
Moreover, the Entrepreneurs are looking forward for investing in Kamareddy District as it is nearer to capital city and availability of land is huge & of low cost.
More Large and Medium Industries are interested in establishment in Bhiknoor and Kamareddy Mandals , Which are nearer to Hyderabad.
In other mandals like Jukkal, Madnoor, Bichkunda, the cultivation of Cotton and Pulses is good. There are also many cotton ginning and pressing industries already existing in the Madnoor Mandal.

Kamareddy district is partially industrially developed. There is scope for agro based industries in the district as paddy, maize, turmeric, soya are the main crops.
